Q: Are there any minimum system requirements?

A: You need to have a high speed internet connection, such as DSL or Cable. Microsoft Internet Explorer and at least Windows 95, 98, 2000, or XP, Vista or Windows 7.

Q: How much bandwidth does this program use?

A: The program resides on our server so there is zero bandwidth space used.

Q: Do I need to download any additional software?

A: No. The program automatically installs itself the first time you set up a meeting. The attendee does not require any downloads or additional software.

Q: What do I do if the video freezes?

A: Click on the Red Camera Button in the Viewer

Q: How do I add guests to my address book?

A: Click on Email Management and a drop down menu will appear. Add new email addresses for your guests.

Q: What do I need to host or attend a meeting?

A: Both the presenter and guest need to have a high speed internet connection. No additional software is needed.

Q: How do I schedule a meeting?

A: Click on schedule a meeting. Then name the meeting, set date and time.

Q: Can I kick uninvited guests out of the meeting?

A: Not at this time. Will be added in a later version.

Q: Can I cancel or reschedule a meeting?

A: Yes. Click on the Schedule a meeting and hit the reschedule or cancel button.

Q: Can there be more then one presenter at a time?

A: No

Q: Can I pass control of my PC to a remote attendee while web conferencing?

A: Not yet, but this feature is coming.

Q: Can I change the time zone?

A: Yes, you set the time zone the meeting is scheduled in.

Q: Can I control who is speaking?

A: Yes, by accepting or rejecting the hands up. If a guest wants to talk or show his video, he will "raise his hand".

Q: What is the maximum number of participants that can join a conference?

A: Limited to your package, with maximum of 6 guests on a camera at one time.

Q: Can I choose to share a single application or my entire desktop?

A:You can do either.

Q: What type of files can I share?

A: You can share virtually any document or application you have on your computer.

Q: Does everyone in a training session need the file or application that I want to share?

A: No. Only the presenter in the training session must have the file or application on his or her computer. Other attendees in the session need not have the file or application on their computers.

Q: Can I transfer files to another user?

A:No.

Q: Can I modify a document while I am sharing?

A: Yes, you can work on it just like you normally would.

Q: How do I share a PowerPoint Presentation?

A: Share PowerPoint like any other document with your desktop Share.

Q: Can I show animation and slide transitions in presentations?

A: Yes, If you allow for timing delay in Power Point (PPT) ... I use 20-25 seconds.  We will be adding a PPT viewer in a later version.

Q: Can I view an attendee's computer screen while web conferencing?

A: Not yet.

Q: Sometimes images we're sharing don't look as clear as they should. Why?

A: Attendees may see degradation in the quality of some images as the VideoLive compression algorithm automatically compensates for slow connections.

Q: Can I chat with others while presenting?

A: The guest may chat with only the presenter, but guests are not allowed to chat with each other.

Q: I can't see my chat box?

A: You must allow pop-ups to be able to chat.

Q: Can I broadcast my messages or keep them private?

A: No. You may only chat privately with the presenter.

Q: Can I shut off the chat?

A:Yes.

Q: Can I charge guests for my seminar?

A: Yes. Just have your guests pay first in your Paypal account and then send them the link to your meeting.

Q: How do I know I'm in the right meeting?

A: Each meeting has a name.

Q: How do I invite guests to a meeting?

A: When you schedule a meeting, you choose guests to send an automatic email invitation.

Q: Can I use Internet phone (VOIP) for audio during a meeting?

A: Yes, Internet phone - also called Internet telephony or voice over IP (VOIP) - is available. To use Internet phone, ensure that your computer has the following:
a supported sound card
sound driver
speakers or headphones
a microphone
If your computer is running Microsoft Windows, you can determine whether it supports Internet phone by creating a short voice recording using Windows Sound Recorder. If the recording is successful, you can use Internet phone during a session.

Q: Which video cameras are supported?

A: You can generally use any video camera, or webcam, that connects to either a USB or parallel port on your computer.

Q: My Guests can't see my Desktop Share and it says they can?

A: You need to make sure that you as the presenter have downloaded Java. Look in your task tray on the bottom. You should see the Java Icon when you click the Share Desktop Start Button in the pop up viewer.
